Steven Kessner, New York City Real Estate Visionary, has partnered with son Michael Kessner to form K5 Equities. K5 Equities is a full service real estate investment firm that focuses on acquiring, managing, and repositioning multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial properties in the New York Tri-State Area.
Since 1981 Steve has acquired, operated, and disposed of over $400 Million worth of multifamily and mixed-use rental properties in the East Village, the Upper East Side, and East Harlem in New York City. Steve Kessner is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a BS in Economics.

Michael Kessner began working for Steve Kessner’s business in the 1990s and was promoted in 2002 to Vice President responsible for overseeing management, construction and maintenance of his father’s portfolio. In 2011, Steve and Michael partnered in a property acquisition campaign that resulted in their purchase of 12 multi-family and mixed-use buildings in Manhattan and one in Westchester County. Michael oversees all aspects of the property and asset management of the Kessners’ real estate holdings while also sourcing new acquisitions. Michael is a graduate of New York University.
